May 15, 2010 – THOMPSON LAW OFFICE IS “FEATURED BUSINESS OF THE MONTH”
As seen in Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce - CHAMBER CONNECTION -Volume 11, Issue 5 - May 2010:
When attorney Ben Thompson started Thompson Law Office, he wanted to provide more effective and efficient legal services to clients than they might receive elsewhere.  It seems to be working, as the firm has grown and added two attorneys in the past six months.  The firm recently moved into larger office space in west Omaha to accommodate the growth and anticipates hiring more staff before the end of the year.
“We regularly receive compliments from clients who are grateful for our refreshing approach,” said Thompson.  The law firm’s approach is revolutionizing the practice of law, by capitalizing on the latest technology to stay organized and responsive to clients.  Perhaps the best example is the firm’s innovative “Mobile Unit,” the region’s only mobile law office that allows the firm to serve clients in rural or urban areas without ready access to legal services.  The Mobile Unit features a generator and wireless internet network with the capability to communicate, print, scan, copy, fax and mail from the road.
Both the Mobile Unit and the firm’s west Omaha law offices have the same resources generally reserved for the largest law firms in town.  Thompson explained, “We never want our clients—or ourselves for that matter—to feel like anything must be compromised.”  The firm has access to electronic legal research services, public records databases, newswires, and other services to keep informed and prepared.
Thompson Law Office has a general practice, and its attorneys provide “practical advice” and “passionate advocacy” for individual, non-profit, business and governmental clients in a variety of legal matters in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.  You can learn more at www.thompson.law.pro.
